What we clarify in the initial consultation
The initial consultation usually lasts 20 to 30 minutes and serves to determine the scope of your data room. We clarify the occasion: acquisition, sale, refinancing, portfolio management, restructuring, realisation of assets in insolvency proceedings, or a permanent data room for the standing portfolio. Added to this is the scope of the properties involved and the question of whether the transaction is an asset deal or a share deal. In a share deal we include a corporate level in the structure. We discuss which index structure is appropriate, which viewer groups are to be granted access in which phases, and how the Q&A is managed. Effort, timetable and depth of support follow from this information.
If you name a time at which you can be reached, we will arrange matters accordingly. All information from your enquiry and the initial consultation is treated confidentially and is not passed on to third parties. On request, we will enter into a confidentiality agreement even before the conversation takes place: you receive our template, or you send us yours, which we will review at short notice.
For the subsequent processing of personal data in the data room, for example from leases or tenant files, we conclude a data processing agreement with you under Article 28 GDPR. Whether leases, tenant files or personnel records are to be redacted or pseudonymised before release to bidders is determined by you as the controller; we implement that requirement in the data room. The data processing agreement governs our processing on your behalf, not the disclosure to bidders.

The price depends on data volume, term and the level of support, and is calculated on request. Following the initial consultation you receive a written offer with clearly defined services; we do not publish price lists.
When can a data room start?
The platform itself is available at short notice. What determines the timetable is building the index structure and the population with your documents; we set a realistic date together in the initial consultation, based on the volume and condition of the documentation.
